The Gardes, Local Artists Featured in Stillwater-
STILLWATER- Ponca City talent will take Stillwater by storm on Saturday.
Ponca City natives, Aaron and Kira Frisby, will have an art show featuring Aaron and Kira Frisby, at Joseppi's, 223 E. Hall Of Fame, in Stillwater. There will be a reception at 7 p.m. followed by musical guest Tyson Meade (formerly of the Chainsaw Kittens) at 8:30.
The art show will feature paintings pulled from Aaron and Kira's "Faces" series.
At 11 p.m. The Gardes will be playing a set at Mike's College Bar, located on the strip (Washington). The Gardes will be playing songs from their sophomore album, "New To You."
The Gardes are Brett Horton, Lance Grover, Aaron Siemers, Ricky Lenhart, Chad Matheson.
This band formed in Ponca City. All members practiced and played with one another under various names throughout the years. Now, as the Gardes, they and the rest of the world are awaiting the release of their newest CD, "New To You."
Sunday from 8-10 p.m. The Gardes will be featured guests on KSPI 93.7 FM radio. New songs will be played and interviews conducted.
